Well, it's been about 3 years since what I have been seeing happen in the last week has happened. It is a fantastic sign that the market may, possibly, after all this time be making a comeback. The down side? For my Buyers it is a crusher just as it was in 2005. You find a house that you are dying to see and seems to be the perfect fit....your Realtor makes the call to set up the appointment....and this is what they hear on the other end of the phone:

" Oh, I am so sorry that house just went under contract! It's been on for so long but we finally got an offer! I can call you if anything changes"

So, again, great for the market and super exciting but not so fun for the Buyers on the other end.

Word to the Wise

Have your pre-approval in hand, get right out there and see your favorites ASAP, and be ready to hustle if it's the house you really feel is " The One"

Ok, with all of that said, of course today is Monday and time for the closed sales report for the last 7 days. Not a bad week but I can already see that we are approaching a holiday weekend. Expect to see it continue to quite down until after turkey day.
